Getting Started
1. Launch the App
Click "Detection Map" or use the buttons to open the interactive dashboard.
2. Explore the Map
Use your mouse to pan and scroll to zoom in/out. Click on any sensor marker to view detailed data.
3. Select a Metric
Choose between AQI, PM2.5 (µg/m³), or CO2 (ppm) from the dropdown to change the displayed metric.
4. Search & Filter
Use the search box to quickly find sensors by name. Results update in real-time.
5. Add Custom Sensors
Click Add Sensor, then click anywhere on the map to place a new monitoring point. Enter custom data via the sidebar.
6. Randomize Data
Test the visualization with simulated values by clicking Randomize.
7. Night Mode
Toggle Night Mode in the controls for a dark theme optimized for low-light environments.
8. Export & Import
Save your sensor data as CSV or import previously saved datasets for analysis.
9. Fullscreen View
Click Fullscreen for an immersive map experience.

Getting the Most Out of Fire Aware

Customize your alert thresholds on the Settings page, link your sensor nodes via the Pairing screen, and subscribe to the regions you care about. The mobile app mirrors the dashboard with push notifications for fire-alert onsets within your subscribed radius. The Documentation page has deep-dive guides for advanced users.
